What is Miniball?

Miniball is a game-based program for children in school years Kindergarten - Year 4.  If your child has never played basketball before we do recommend a Term in Aussie Hoops first, especially in the Kindergarten to Year 2 age group.

It is Maitland Basketball’s first game-playing experience for Primary School aged children, with 2 timeslots catering for K-2 & Years 3-4. With the assistance of our development coaches, players will develop their skills and confidence in a fun and supportive team environment.

Each week your team will have a skills session with their dedicated coach, then play a game against another Miniball team. We have made modifications, such as lowering the hoops and playing with a size 5 basketball, allowing young players to participate at their current skill level.
