Maitland Basketball Association is proud to announce Mojo Homes as the official naming rights sponsor of the Maitland Federation Centre, home of the Maitland Mustangs, in a landmark three-year partnership that promises to elevate grassroots sport in the region. The facility will now be known as the Mojo Homes Centre.

This exciting collaboration unites two organisations with strong local roots and a shared commitment to community growth, family values and excellence. The partnership will support vital infrastructure and grassroots development, with a direct impact on more than 1,500 active members and 25 representative basketball teams, from junior leagues to NBL1 East.

Basketball in Maitland has never been more popular. On the back of the club’s recent success in NBL1, Youth League and at the junior representative level, participation has surged, so much so that the club is now struggling to meet the growing demand for court space. The need for investment and support has never been greater, and this partnership with Mojo Homes will go a long way in helping the club meet that challenge.

“Mojo Homes’ support will help us continue to provide an inclusive, fun and accessible space for kids and families to engage in sport. It allows us to invest more in development pathways for junior athletes and ensures our facility continues to thrive as a hub for community life,” said Amy McGregor, Operations Manager at Maitland Basketball.

With more than two million people passing through the Mojo Homes Centre annually, the sponsorship offers significant visibility not only during Mustangs games, but across a wide range of sporting and community events. From school programs and holiday camps to representative competitions and national tournaments, the Centre plays a vital role in the lives of thousands of local families.

“Supporting grassroots sport and strong community connections is at the heart of who we are,” said Rob Douglas, CEO of McDonald Jones Homes and Mojo Homes. “This partnership with Maitland Basketball is about investing in local families, encouraging active lifestyles, and helping to build the next generation of champions, on and off the court.”

The sponsorship includes prominent stadium signage, digital integration, event activation, and a family-focused member incentive program, creating meaningful connections between Mojo Homes and the local community.

As Maitland Basketball continues to ride the momentum of its most successful year yet, the partnership with Mojo Homes marks a new era for sport in the region.
